We would love to welcome you to the Royal Oak Guest House, whether it be for business or pleasure.
As a business which has been kept in our family for nearly 17 years, our aim is to continue to provide you with a relaxing and comfortable stay.
As local “Orcadians” we have recently returned home having spent several years working in the Inverness area. We felt this was the right time to begin an exciting new chapter and share our knowledge and passion of the Orkney Islands with new and existing customers.

Ferries to the South Isles (Graemsay, Flotta, Hoy) depart from Houton or Stromness.
Ferries to Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre depart from Tingwall in the West Mainland.
You are advised to book vehicles in advance as sailings (especially in summer and at weekends) can be busy.
